The Prophetess Unknown None Given (a.k.a. Mariyah)

The Prophetess, who calls herself Mariyah, is a simple girl. She prefers to wear overalls and go barefoot than wear fancy dresses and high heels. She often pulls her hair back and is usually found in the library studying one of the hundreds of Myverian gods.
She is one of the youngest to be accepted into The Prophets organization. An accomplishment she is very proud of. However, being the youngest accepted does face some difficulty, but Mariyah loves a challenge.

Personal history
Mariyah has never known her parents. She has been an orphan all her life, if she thinks back to her earliest memory, her parents are already gone. Not knowing her parents had never really bothered her. After all, the Prophets were her family. The books her cousins, and the gods, well, they were like those strange people you see at family reunions that you had never seen before.
Mariyah spent the majority of her time studying, whether that was the gods, the prophets, or even herself. She liked the quiet and did not mind being alone. To her being alone was one of the most natural things in the world.
But as she grew up, Mariyah started to get lonely and, suddenly, being alone and by herself was not something she wanted. After several months of complaining about boredom one of her teachers sent her out on a mission to recruit more Prophets. Outside of the organization was a new experience for her. it was scary and exciting all at once. And out there, in the world, was where she met Avron, the savior of Myvera.
Education
Mariyah was taught by the Prophets. She grew up learning about the gods and their homes, about their powers and weaknesses. She has never gone to a "real school" and is lacking in certain subjects that many children grew up with. Mariyah, although proficient in the history of the gods, knows next to nothing about modern history. And Science is something that has eluded her, things such as biology she has never had to learn.
Her lack of knowledge in these things that would generally have been common knowledge among the people of the world, makes her feel slightly insecure.
