Fulfilling Wishes
As a genie, it is Iriel’s duty to fulfill the wishes of her master/mistress. The ones that find her perfume bottle are always her next master. Depending on the character of her master and the kind of wishes they make, Iriel may corrupt the wishes more or less. As a free genie, Iriel can offer her master as many wishes as she likes and can decide for herself how long she serves her master. If her master becomes unworthy of her, she vanishes into thin air with her bottle to find herself a new master.Genie Realm
Like every other bottle genie, Iriel has her own little genie realm. Inside, you find yourself in an old high elf noble house that was built with a mix of ancient dark wood and perfect white marble. This is combined with a genie-like design of colorful decorations which Iriel has collected over her long life from all kinds of places and ages. There are plentiful rooms of different sizes and purposes. Besides the community rooms and her own personal space, Iriel’s genie realm also has many similar rooms that work as personal spaces for her guests. Iriel’s own room has a giant pile of the fluffiest things she could find in the middle of the room. It is her bed and her personal cuddle and snuggles place, which she shares with special guests she likes. The genie may invite others to stay in her genie realm. That may be by a misinterpreted wish, a direct request from any side or to protect someone from harm. As soon as you enter the genie realm, you are unable to escape without Iriel’s help. Her genie realm prevents people from aging and frees them of mortal needs like getting hungry or requiring a toilet. Due to Iriel’s personal love for sleeping and cuddling, her guests still have the need to sleep.Genie Sisters
If Iriel finds a special liking to one of her guests and deems them worthy, then she will let the genie energies of her realm flow into them. This may be over the time of months or years, or in an instant. In any way, Iriel will educate the new genie and share her wisdom of the millennia. If Iriel thinks the new genie sister is ready, she will let them out of her bottle and create a fitting lamp for their own. The realms of Iriel and her genie sisters are always connected, allowing them to visit each other easily during times when both serve no master. While Iriel prefers to transform her new genie sisters into girls before making them genies, in rare cases she also allows them to become male genies.Perfume scent
After one of her former masters once wished that Iriel always smelled like the thing he loved most in the world, Iriel used this idea and wish and made it into one of her unique abilities and characteristics. Her bottle, her genie smoke, and herself will always smell like the thing that her new master likes most in the world. This may be the scent of a flower, of a lover, their bed, or a childhood memory. It does not matter, Iriel will smell exactly like that. Weak-willed people may fall prey to her scent and are more eager to spend physical time with her and trust her more than they should. This makes it much easier for Iriel to influence her master and to have some fun on her own during their wishes!Mental characteristics
Personal history
Highborn Nobel of Syl
Iriel was born as the second child of a high noble family in Syl, the sylvan elf queendom. Like most elf nobles, she grew up slowly and well protected from the dangers of the world. The young noble was famous for her beauty at the court of nobles and for her high magic potential. When she turned 127, she finally decided to do something productive with her life and began as a student of a royal court magician in Syl.Genie Transformation
After 15 years of studying magic, Iriel came into contact with a genie bottle. It was a beautiful male Neko genie that accepted her as his mistress. At first, she was overjoyed and took her first wish. She wanted to become as powerful as her master in magic. It was granted and she quickly rose in ranks till she was part of the high magicians of the royal court. It took her around 10 years. During these years, she learned that the high elf queen was still much more powerful in magic. Her greed made her blind, so her second wish was to become the most powerful elf in history. The genie disliked her greed and was unable to hold her off her dangerous path, so he wanted to teach her a lesson for life. The wish was granted, but not as Iriel had expected as the genie turned her into a genie as well by filling her with his genie powers. Reborn as a genie, Iriel was fascinated by her new powers. She wanted to change the world and become famous. Soon she had to learn the hard way that she was unable to fulfill her own wishes and was bound to follow her masters. Before she could wish for a different fate, her old genie left her to her fate and vanished.War of the Gods
The flow of time felt weird for an immortal being like a genie. 3500 years passed like they were only some years for Irie. In these years she fulfilled her duties as a genie and granted an uncountable amount of wishes of her numerous masters. Then the war of the gods began on Bardor. During the war, Iriel was eventually captured by Lia, the dark goddess. She was enslaved by her and now had to follow the rules of a slaved genie. Iriel tried her best to stay on the side of her goddess Sylvia, the patron goddess of her home nation. She manipulated her bottle to always find a master that would benefit her old home with their wishes. But she was unable to uphold this for long and soon she was forced to serve Lia’s followers. Against her will, she had to serve the human nobles and help them during the war against her old home.Atlantis High Society
The war ended after 2500 years with the victory of Lia and the human nations. After hearing that her old home continent had isolated itself with a pink mist shield from the rest of the world, Iriel knew that getting home became impossible. She continued to serve the human nobles for several thousand years more. During that time, she learned more and more about humans and their way of living. She liked their ambitions to do something with their short lives. She loved to toy with these ambitions to fulfill her own desires. During these years, Atlantis was founded and the first pink mist portal to earth opened in the city. Iriel was present during these events, but she never moved through the portal herself. Bound by her masters, she could not move freely, and as no Atlantis noble would be silly enough to move through a pink mist portal, Iriel was never able to do so as well.Expedition to the Queendoms
One of the masters of Iriel took her on an expedition to the queendoms. The humans discovered a path to enter the lost continent and wanted to conquer it again. Iriel and her master were on a scout mission to prepare for this invasion. During their trip through the dangerous paths of the jungles in the east of the vast continent, her master died. It was while Iriel was trapped in her bottle by an arrow of a Neko warrior. Iriel was unable to protect her master and was left trapped in her lamp. Her lamp was lost and buried in the depth of the jungle. Time was nothing Iriel took much notice of and so she does not know how long exactly she just laid there in the jungle. Trees grew and died around her again and again till she was finally found by an adventurous Neko warrior.Return Home
Iriel was overjoyed that she could finally serve masters and mistresses of the queendoms again. After switching between several masters over the years, she eventually ended up in her old home of Syl again. The city has changed much over the millennia. The old noble family she was part of was not known anymore and was lost in history. The genie served her masters, which were often part of the high society of Syl. One mistress was very special though. Iriel appeared like she always did when a new master found her lamp, but the new mistress that she found before herself was not any normal elf. It was the goddess of her home nation of Syl, Sylvia. She took the form of an elf noble to hide, yet Iriel as a genie felt the godly energies and could see behind the veil to see the bunny nature of her goddess. The goddess took care of her and freed Iriel of her enslavement. She would be able to choose her own masters again and visit the places she wanted! Iriel was overjoyed by this and thanked her goddess by swearing to serve her and always follows her teachings as long as they are not in contrast to the rules of the genie goddess Selysti.Collection of sisters
During these years, she began inviting former masters she liked into her lamp. At first, she just wanted to let them live longer and spend more time together by binding them with her in her genie realm. Most were let go after a while, but some stayed with her. Soon she learned that those that stayed too long and took in too much of her genie’s powers, became free genies as well! Iriel began raising new generations of genies by selecting old masters and transforming them into new genies like her. Her only rule was that most of them had to become girls like her. Iriel had a dislike for most male genies and only allowed them in very rare cases.Portal to a new old world
The pink mist became more active over the years and eventually, a new portal to earth opened on Bardor. This time, not in the former Atlantis, but in the Queendoms. Iriel heard of this and saw her chance. She invited her latest master into her genie realm and then set off to explore not only her old world but this new world as well.Education
Iriel is well educated and has a strong academic background from her time as a court magician of the Sylvan queendom. She served many noble masters refreshed her knowledge and refined her wisdom over thousands of years. Due to the long skips in serving masters, there are big holes of historical knowledge nevertheless and as she mostly concentrated on her masters, there are many fields that she had not touched.
Employment
During the Age of Goddesses on Bardor, Iriel was a royal court magician for decades before she was transformed into a genie against her will. From there on, she served as a free genie for several centuries. Due to the actions of the dark goddess Lia, Iriel became a slaved genie without the freedom that she enjoyed before and served the nobles of the Theocracy of Atlantis for several millennia.
After the Age of Isolation finally ended, Iriel was able to get back to the Sylvan Lands and was freed again by Sylvia. From there on, she again roamed the lands as a free genie.
Mental Trauma
The long time as a slave genie left a deep mark on Iriel. She was unable to freely manipulate the wishes of her mortal masters and could not follow her own ideas and dreams.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Iriel is a very kind woman with a heavy love for cuddles, snuggles, and all kinds of physical affection. But her adorable look and bubbly behavior should not lower your guard. She is a heavy trickster who loves nothing more than to playfully corrupt the wishes of her masters and mistresses to have some fun with it! In most cases, this means that her master has the same amount of fun of course.
The genie girl dutifully serves her master nevertheless and tries to improve their life. It is quite easy to get on her good side with sweets of all kinds.
Another rather surprising behavior of Iriel is her love for inviting former masters and mistresses into her perfume bottle. This may happen by direct invitation by her, or by a corrupted wish from her master. In any way, if Iriel takes a liking to her master and if she thinks it is an improvement to their life, then she will trap them in her bottle. Once inside her genie realm, there is no escape without Iriel's direct action. She takes good care of her guests though and will let them have wonderful, near eternal lives inside of her realm with her. Sometimes, she lets her guests go, while others may become genies like her after a while.
Likes & Dislikes
Iriel loves it to trick her masters like any good genie does. But she is not evil in the way she is doing it, as she just loves playing harmless pranks. If her master is kind enough, she enjoys good cuddles and even shares her beloved genie sweets from her realm with her master.
It behaves differently with mean masters. She really disliked them and would try to get away from them as fast as possible by corrupting their wishes heavily against their will. Iriel also hates to be tricked, as she sees herself as the trickster in every situation. The genie also has a dislike for the weak lifespans of mortals, as most of her friends die way too quickly for her personal taste due to their old age. She also tries to make her friends into her genie masters to bring them into her genie realm to keep them with her for eternity.

Everyone she had seen as family died centuries ago. She nevertheless is not alone, as she sees her former masters and mistresses who are living in her genie realm with her as her family.

Iriel is a strong believer in the goddess Sylvia. The goddess did not only saved her, but she is also the patron of her species as a whole. At least Iriel sees her as that. Besides Sylvia, Iriel has also strong ties to the goddess of genies of the Sylvan Lands.

Iriel is a true trickster with a strong ability to fit her manners and behavior perfectly to lure her master into her tricks. She is extremely charismatic and can easily wrap people around her genie fingers with her extrovert nature and with little help from her magic.
