Vek-7
While listed under "Home Planets", Vek-7 is actually a moon orbiting a gas giant in the Choir Sector. Home to its own native life, Vek-7's surface is coated in a multi-meter thick layer of biomass. It's thick atmosphere rises and falls like a tide as it spins around its host planet. This is the origin of the Vek-7 Parasites.
Ecology:
Heavy with biomass, Vek-7's biome is often referred to as a jungle. Plant-like growths shelter the living surface with a thick canopy, while myriad small xenofauna flourish in the shade. One peculiarity of Vek-7's native life is that there appear to be 3 distinct groups of life forms living in tandem. These groups appear totally unrelated in terms of the biological origin, but have evolved to live among each other regardless. One theory posits that one group arrived on the moon from elsewhere, but no one can agree on where they might have arrived from. Due to this unusual situation, the life forms of Vek-7 have grown to adapt to any biology they might come across.History:
Vek-7 was a colonization candidate by the Terrkarakki people. First settled by a sub-group of the Greater Krakki, the original colonists struggled to survive on the moon due to the unusual fauna. While they were weakened, they came under attack from the Karhakkhas' Queendom who took over their settlement and came face to face with the biological threat holding the original Krakki back: the Vek-7 Parasites. The Karhakkas waged war against the nature of Vek-7 itself in an attempt to conquer the moon. This war has slowed, but not stopped, in the face of the Vek-7 parasites' sudden acquisition of sentience.Locations:
