Lord of Ruin

Lord of Ruin is the honorific title given to the Planetary Governor of the junk world of Mickini's World.
The origins of the title stem from the time following the Departmento Munitorum issuing bestowing the Right of Settlement upon the surviving regiments that defeated the uprising on the world. Legend has it that the highest ranking officer was given the title of Planetary Governor and began to be introduced to nobility of neighbouring worlds at the coronation ball, many of them looking at the state of the former war world, seeing it nothing more than a pathetic neighbouring world and a ruined one at that. During the event, one of the drunken guests, grew louder and in an attempt to humiliate the veteran in front of their peers, stated that the world was nothing more than a smouldering ruin and an embarrassment to the sector, to which the veteran replied, "Then I am proud to be the Lord of Ruin and you will know me as such" and continued to meet delegates using that title, with a smile and pride as only a soldier could, cementing the title in the Administratum's archives

Duties

As with any Planetary Governor, the Lord of Ruin is given free reign to rule as they see fit by the Administratum, so long as any and all requests for soliders, material to support conflicts are answered (i.e tithes), the planet is kept within the the relam of the Imperium and any rogue psykers are captured and delivered to the Black Shipswhen they arrive in system
