Time, Space, and Everything Between

Focused on the manipulation of time, space, and other universal fundamentals, Quantum is seen as the most powerful magic of them all, but the hardest to master anything useful. From rewinding time, to peering into the future, to dislocating, or even popping things into existence, while focused on what we call science, to a degree, it breaks one fundamental rule. Matter can be created and destroyed, as long as you are well-versed in Quantum magics.

Quantum Sub-Types

There are several subsects of Quantum magic, each focusing on various different aspects such as time, space, potential, sound, and so forth. Quantum is an extremely diverse magic; while one person can clap sound waves, another flings large objects like toys, and a third may do small rewinds to mess up less often. Most sub-sects of Quantum are listed below.

Chronomancy:

The manipulation of time is the main goal for many Quantum users, but also one of the most advanced forms of the magic. As one could expect, Chronomancy is all about the reversal or forwarding of time to one's benefit. Novices of this magic generally have the ability to flick time back a few seconds in order to prevent mistakes they make or retry a vital apparatus. This can also be used as a strange way to hope between parallel realities by rewinding to a split in time and travelling an alternate path created by a decision of yourself or another.

Spacial:

The manipulation of space is a relatively easy power and can be done with a bit of practice and is where many begin when practicing Quantum magics. The manipulation of space can come in countless forms, but most frequently in the moving of objects and dislocation. This path not only excels in moving matter or anything that takes up space, but also the splitting of space, creating temporary wormholes from one place to another. Or possibly, even a merging of those two, teleporting an object, or themselves, to a completely different area.

Potenta:

Known as the manipulation of potential, Potenta magics are all about undoing the inevitable, or forcing something into existence when it couldn't do so naturally. Its all about the potential for things to happen, or exist, and manipulating that. It's a vague magic that has an undeniably large space of uses. From putting odds in your favor when they're slim, preventing the existence of an enemy, or conjuring matter from thin air, Potenta is a magic of unusual learning curve and meddles in the other two main forms of magic to create unusual effects.

Magic Appearance

Spells and incantations that fall under the realm of quantum magic have a purple tinge to them, whether that be a glow of violet around someone who has recently traveled time, a shimmer on an object having been manipulated, or bands of bright aura, Quantum magic is easy to tell by the color it emits. An interesting theory about quantum is that it isn't a fundamental magic, meaning that it isn't independent and relies on evocation and exchange, which is also where it gets is purple hue since those two magics are red and blue, respectively. However, while some things that quantum can do are possible in those two fundamentals, there are some things unique to quantum, namely, its manipulation of time and potential.
