Natural Power

Focuses around the harnessing of elemental energies and objects, Elemental is an extremely underrated magic, with many seeing it as one of the weaker magics out there. For many, the end goal for elemental is the ability to manipulate and bend the world to their will. However, that is an extremely difficult aspect to master as the world does not like being under the whim of others. Only masters of Elemental magic can manage to bend one element. Moving all is nearly unheard of. In most cases, people will be using elemental energies rather than the elements themselves, imbuing these energies into items or crystallizing them into a purer form to use in different manners.

Elemental Sub-Types

Subsects of elemental tend to focus on one of three things, Energy, Artificing, and Manipulation. While many see Elemetnal as a weak and pointless magic, those who devote their time to it find a different story, that the elemental energies are capable of far more than most magic can accomplish. Elemental energy is everywhere while most other magics rely on an internal reserve of energy, Elemental magics, especially Elemental Artificing, use natural magics instead.

Energeia:

Using elemental energies sounds simple to many, and it seems useless to others. However, the ability to imbue items with elemental power is an extremely useful ability, making some tools and weapons more effective. The crystalizing of these elemental energies opens up a door to far more, the creation of tools and items that run off elemental energies and transmit these energies in a more efficient and productive manner. All of this eventually leading to the creations of golems, machines, and more from simple elemental energies.

Manipulation:

Manipulating the elements is what many refer to as 'bending'. The ability to move and control the elements in their physical form. The ability to manipulate one element is difficult, the manipulation of two even more so. However, for each element one can control, more doors that open for them. For example, those who specialize in Earth and Water manipulation have the ability to manipulate mud, clay, and plants. Add Fire manipulation and they have the ability to manipulate magma and metal. However, for each element a person already knows, the more exponentially difficult the next element will be to acquire.

Magic Appearance

Elemental appearance tends to vary depending on the element or elemental energy being manipulated. Strangely enough, long-term practitioners of a single element will notice their other magics taking a unique form depending on what element they specialize in. Water manipulation generally has a blue hue to it and tends to 'drip', the magic falling off of the caster or targets like water. Earth manipulation is a deep green and looks almost like crystal plating on the caster or those the caster targets. Fire magic 'fumes', flickering in and out of existence like a flame and sports a red-orange color. Lastly, air magic is yellow, seeming to swirl around the caster and their targets like a breeze. Some lesser-known elemental manipulations could be white or black while 'shining' or 'exploding'.
