Survivalist Features
Hunters Focus
As an experienced outdoorsperson and/or hunter, you have learned that whether you are predator or prey every moment and every strike can decide the outcome of a hunt. As a result you have learned to utilize all of your senses and have developed a hyper sense of focus that aids you in combat.prerequisites:
You may use a half action to switch between predator, or prey focus modes. While being the predator you increase your focus on one target to an extreme level, while prey mode allows you to split your focus to multiple targets at the same time. When you activate this feature, you must roll your survival die pool. You may only use your hunter's focus for a number of rounds equal to the number rolled, until you become unconscious, or if you lose track of all targets for a number of rounds equal to your instinct modifier. The benefits of both focus modes are as follows:
While in predator focus mode you may not change your focus unless you use a specific half action to do so. Your target has disadvantage on trying to hide from you, and you have advantage on awareness skill checks to track or locate it. As long as you can detect the target with ANY of your senses, it is considered seen by you. Any time you would use your instinct dice pool while focused on the target your instinct die becomes 1 step larger.
While in prey focus mode you may focus on a number of additional creatures equal to {your base proficiency bonus}. You may treat each of these creatures as your focus for all purposes as long as you are in the prey focus mode.
Sharpened {Instincts}
You have lived on instinct long enough that not only are you more trusting in them, but they are increasingly more effective and accurate. prerequisites: The size of your instinct die increases by 1 step, or increase the number of dice in your instinct dice pool by an amount equal to your instinct attribute modifier. You may take this feature multiple times, each option may only be chosen once.
Seasoned Explorer
As one who has lived in and travelled the wildernesses of the world you have become naturally wary of and ready for the threats of the world. You understand the threats posed to you and others both seen and unseen, immediate, and future. You are able to prepare yourself before and during moments of danger to increase your survival.prerequisites:
- You gain grit points equal to the number of creatures you are focusing on at the start of your turn during combat.
- You may reduce your exhaustion level by one when you finish a short rest without expending any recovery dice.
- {When in harsh conditions you remain at one step above where you normally would be for each condition. If a condition would require a saving throw to avoid being lowered you may make a Will saving throw instead of the normal save.} <- How to make this more DM friendly.
Specialization

You gain a level in a specialty class of your choice that you meet the prerequisites for. You may not have more than one specialty class.
You may take this feature multiple times.
Survival Tactics

You may choose an additional tactic from the Survival Tactics list as long as you meet the prerequisites.
The Beast Within
You have given in to the more primeval aspects of your instincts and in turn have lost a little bit of what society deems "civilized". People reagard you with worry and caution, like some animal amongst them.prerequisites:
You are considered monstrous if your race isnt already. You may select a survival tactic with the monstrous race prerequisite option from the Survival Tactics list now and any time you select from the list in the future. You also gain the monstrous race effects of any tactics you already have.
More Beast Than Not
You align more with your monstrous side than the "civilized" part of you that people fear and misunderstand.prerequisites: Monstrous Race
