Survivalist Class
Survivalist are the masters of the wild, a being that spends their time conquering the challenges of nature and facing the ferocity of its inhabitants. Survivalists have either already survived every conceivable type of danger, or have an instinctual plan on how to. Talented trackers, hunters, and travelers, Survivalists are a welcome addition to any group that needs to "fill the gaps". Becoming a Survivalist causes your primary attribute to become instinct. You must have a score of at least 12 in instinct to gain your first level in survivalist.
Level 1
- HP Bonus: 1 per survivalist level
- Recovery Die: d12
- Class Attributes: Swiftness, control, instinct and {durability or Resolve?}
- Armor Proficiency: You gain proficiency with light and medium armor pieces twice as fast
- Weapon Proficiency: You gain twice the amount of progress towards training to increase your proficiency in {simple, basic, and special} weapon types.
- Skills Proficiency: Choose 3 from {Animal Handling, Athletics, Acrobatics, Insight, Investigation, Nature, Perception, Stealth, and Survival}
- Saving Throws Proficiency: reflex and will
One with Nature
You are able to familiarize yourself with the land and those that inhabit it. These become your familiar terrain and familiar creatures. Becoming familiar with them lets you add your instinct modifier to non instinct skill checks to interact with, learn about, or recall information about them. You gain advantage on checks that already use instinct. Familiarity with terrain and creatures is obtained by meeting the
Survivalist Familiarity prerequisites.
Wildling Instincts (need a new feature name?)
You have been in the wilderness enough to gain an edge you cant explain. It is within you as much as you are within it.
You gain an
instinct die. This die is a D6 and you gain an additional die any time your prestige level for survivalist increases. This
instinct die is used by many of your survivalist features in the form of bonuses to attacks, checks, saves, or even damage.

You may choose a survival tactic from the
Survival Tactics list as your personal way of surviving the wilderness.
Level 2

You gain the following when you reach the fourth level of the survivalist class.
