Human Overview
Humans are known as the foundation (or corruption) of life. While not being the first species of all advanced life, many species owe their existence to the "versatility" of human DNA. Humans are one of the very few races who believe their creation is tied to any particular god, though there are many humans that believe they are a culmination of the will and power of all the gods combined. Humans can be found across the continent inhabiting pretty much any city that doesn't outright forbid them.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Humans have a vast amount of variety within their race, more so than nearly any other on the planet. An adult can range from 4'6" to 7' tall, weighing somewhere within 100 to 300 pounds, with males being larger than females on average.
Growth and Reproduction
Humans reach adulthood in their late teens, and generally do not begin declining in health until their 60's. Humans have a unique ability to successfully breed with nearly any other species, this ability has lead to the creation of many sub species throughout history. Mixed race human children tend to exhibit many of the second races qualities and traits, while still retaining the core of their human genetics. Humans gestate for approximately 9 months and typically birth only one offspring. There are documented cases of up to 8 children being born at once, but any more than one is rare.

Features:
These are the baseline racial features of the average human. If you wish to replace one of the following features with another racial feature, talk to your GM. (negative features are typically not replaceable such as the monstrous feature.)Human Morale
The morale of Humans tends to grow and wane with that of those around them. Your grit increases or decreases based on the grit of allies around you. For each ally in range that currently has more grit than you, your grit increases by 1 (doubled for allied humans). For each ally in range that currently has less grit than you, or is unconscious, incapacitated, or dead your grit decreases by 1 (doubled for allied humans). The range of this feature starts at 2 spaces (10 feet). At every renown level, the range of this feature increases by 2 spaces (10 feet), {and the grit gained increases by 1 per ally.}
Human Determination
When you fail on a d20 roll, you gain a stack of human determination (doubled if it is a {critical fail}). Any time you roll a d20 for an attack, skill check, or saving throw {anything else?}, you roll an additional D20 for each stack of human determination, you currently have. You gain a stack of human determination any time the result of a die plus modifiers would be a fail (including the additional dice rolled for mechanics such as advantage/disadvantage, or human determination even if they arent the chosen result). when you succeed on a d20 roll, you do not gain any stacks of human determination from any dice rolled for that attack, skill check, or saving throw, and you lose all of the existing stacks of human determination you have.
Human Diversity: You may choose one racial feature from the Human Racial Features list. This feature may be an origin feature. If you are half human, you may choose a racial feature from the race of your non human parent's race.
