Embra's Reach is the mountain range along the Southern borders of Reikor and Skarria an the continent Driktsuung.
Geography
Embra's reach is a range of steep mountains, and has many active volcanoes along it. The mountains are comprised of Basalt and Diabase, making climbing them, or mining into them, nearly impossible. Those who do must also face the thin atmosphere filled with smoke and ash. The inhospitable nature of the mountain range has led to it being considered the most dangerous place on the continent.
Natural Resources
Despite its dangers, Embra's Reach is home to the 21 largest diamonds ever found, including the Emberstone, a red-orange diamond 3 feet in diameter that weighed over 60 pounds(136077.6 Carats). Embra's reach is also the only known place to find naturally created Electrum, Dragon Glass and Draconium.
Tourism
Due to the dangers the mountain range possess, there is a lot of tourism that brings people to see it. However, not many dare to actually try to traverse the mountains themselves. Embra's Reach is believed to have claimed at least 400 lives per year, with 3 major exploratory parties consisting of a total of 5 thousand individuals, also believed to have been claimed by the dangerous peaks.
