Elenwae History
Elenwae is located along the western coast of Driktsuung. It borders Vormskir to the north, Bollgo to the east, and Reikor to the south. Elenwae's most prominent physical feature is the massive forests that surround its cities with trees and beasts much bigger and more common than you normally see around the land. Elenwae is home to the land's best hunters and provides the highest quality of woodworking. It is even told that some villages within the kingdom's borders are built entirely off the ground, and completely up in the large trees. The government of Elenwae is headed by a Queen who heads a council of noble families. Elenwae has the longest standing government and recorded history. The record keeping of Elenwae is the only recorded history to survive the ages and is so detailed that it is used as the base of all other history. The beginning of the Queenship also marks the beginning of recorded history with the crowning of Teiranel Elwa as the first queen. This event was the beginning of the Elenwae government that is still in use to this day. The people of Elenwae prefer privacy and tend to keep mostly to themselves, apart from the largest cities most places within the kingdom dont get many visitors, as it is to difficult to traverse the forests. The military of Elenwae is more of an organized militia of hunters and craftsman that utilize defensive guerrilla tactics to prevent invasion. They are skilled with bow and the use of engineered wooden machines. Seldom are the soldiers of Elenwae seen outside the borders of their kingdom. the population of Elenwae is made up mostly of elves, there are multiple tribes of tieflings within the depths of the forests, and you can find most of the races within the larger cities Elenwae's banners are colored a deep green, with a lighter yellow. The emblem of the kingdom is a pair of yellow trees branches in an arch with a dragon's body in the shape of a circle in the center. This emblem symbolizes Algar, the ancient dragon who ruled over the kingdom during the age of dragons.
