Psionic Lord, Baron Zayn Fawzi, Grand-Magus of The Watchful Hold

Is a Half-Elf, Abberant Mind Sorcerer, He found life in Dhalid city on the streets, one of crime that later caught up with him when his magic resulted in the deaths of two seemingly innocent people.
After escaping the underdark with Nera he accompanied her to meet a friend Corym Rovaris, who was intending to introduce them to Jareth. The trio met and visited Corym all at once, just in time to be ambushed by fey-dark creatures attempting to kill Corym and Jareth or drag them back to the underdark to end some curse. The trio after makes their way to The Watchful hold on the request of Archmage Vandros since Zayn received a letter from him. While working for Vandros as a covert agent, Zayn and the group make some interesting discoveries in an abandoned tomb, but also manage to negotiate for Zayn's ownership of a divine armament formerly belong to Dran Dhalid I, the sorcerer king.
Shortly after their first official mission, they are dispatched once again, this time across the continent. The group is sent to Allm Themar under the guise as official emissaries to the city, with Vandros' true purpose remaining a mystery. When they return from this mission, the party has a chance to rest for a while before being sent to Zayn's home city, the Imperial Capital, Dhalid City.
Zayn seems on edge from the moment they arrive, spending the majority of time under disguise from his recently acquired magical hat, and avoiding showing his face even when the group met the emperor.
On a different trip to the Imperial Capital, Zayn maintains a disguise up and until the party is confronted by guards after a commotion gets the law's attention. Zayn attempts escape and evasion but is ultimately arrested with most of the party. He was also responsible for assaulting an officer with a subtle spell, which led to increased presence that likely he could have escaped otherwise. The main Fawzi family head, Viscount Sameer, was then summoned since Zayn was non-compliant and not answering any questions.
Over the course of several days the conflict with the fawzi family, now revealed to be Zayn's father Sameer, grows deeper and deeper. Their ties to aberrant forces are exposed, and Sameer is stripped of his titles and honors. Zayn is theen landed as a baron by the emperor himself in recognition of service.
This culmination with Zayn's family and the eventual death of his father and simultaneous resurrection of his twin brother successfully halts the strange rituals for now and buys Zayn time until he has to foot a generations long bill. Their promise to whatever entity of the void now looming over his head. This Promise would be cashed in by Zayn's twin when they both died in a brutal assassination attempt. Neither stayed dead permanently, though Zayn was out of comission for much longer. When his friends finally recovered Zayn from the far realms, his body and divine arm had reasonated with the plane to give him even further power.
He continued to ruminate on this issue while aiding the party with other matters up and until it would rear its head again.
