Skies of Fire's Unique Selling point

It is an airship adventure story that leans heavily into airship designs to reveal the cultures, stories, and world they fly in. Every aspect is explored, from food supplies to the lifting gas used - we leave no stone unturned. We believe that the story is in the detail.

Theme

Genre

Historical Fiction, or alternative history-fantasy. Skies of Fire is set in a 1920s analogous world where airships rule the skies. It's not steampunk, or dieselpunk.

Drama

The Storm Raiders have no home, becoming the exiles of the Lowlands War. They find a home withing the storm.

Aquila and the Free States have an uneasy, though long-lasting truce. What will cause this truce to snap?

The Northern Nations desire their lands back, but are checked by an ally of the Aquilan Empire - Vilka-Vern. Badakan's King, exiled to the colonies known as Grand Valtria, seeks to regain his throne.

To the east, in the Malfearn Desert, the Benayoun (desert nomads) and Benashan (their settled kin) squabble over everything, deepening their divide. The region is ripe for other to side with those who will fulfill their personal interests.

Cape Moren, a commonwealth ally to the Aquilan Empire holds the trade routes for the Empire, but are often overlooked. Tensions are growing as the Empire seems to take without reciprocation.

Nord Londo, a nation pushed into the sea, now exists as a floating fleet of vessels and airships. They seek to take their home back. One taken from them by Aquila's distant ally - Raleon.
