Equwala of the protector sister
Equwala, known by many names across archioua and Alganoth , is the youngest daughter of Solarius and Lunara . While her siblings—Sallas and Deamon —embody opposing extremes, Equwala walks the middle path, holding herself as the divine force of balance and protection. Among The alganothy pantheon , she is the goddess least worshiped in number but most revered for her neutrality and compassion.
Her divine role is that of guardian between extremes—of peace between warring beliefs, of harmony between shadow and sun. Her followers see her not as a force of power, but as a guide and guardian for those who seek fairness, balance, and the courage to protect others without the desire for conquest.
Appearance
Equwala is most often depicted as a child on the verge of adolescence, dressed in simple robes. Her most distinct feature is her eyes—one violet and one yellow—symbolizing her dual heritage and devotion to equilibrium. Her holy symbol mirrors this, with the eyes hovering above four glowing wards representing her protective nature. She is often surrounded by a gentle light of violet and gold, with her arms stretched outward in quiet welcome or defense.
The home of most of her followers is Equarlsius , the city of balance, situated at the only breach in the Equllarin Wall . There, her worshipers—neutral clerics, monks, and peace-seeking pilgrims—maintain a sacred watch to prevent divine and mortal conflict from spilling into other lands. It is a place of contemplation, dialogue, and restrained strength, where both Solarian and Lunarian ideals coexist under her protection.
Tenets of Faith
1. Balance Above All: Never act from extremity; strive always for understanding, moderation, and equity.
2. Protect the Peace: Stand between those who seek destruction. Intervene when harmony is threatened.
3. Defend Without Pride: Protection is a duty, not a path to glory.
4. Aid the Misjudged: Stand with those cast aside by dogma, creed, or birth—your shield belongs to all.
5. Keep the Wall Unbroken: Maintain the boundaries of faith and war. The Equllarin Wall is sacred—guard it with your life.
Worship and Followers
Equwala’s worship is small in number but dedicated. The vast majority of her followers reside in Equarlsius, where they act as arbiters, peacemakers, and silent sentinels. Her clergy wear simple garments, often in tones of soft purple or yellow, and are rarely armed with more than walking staffs or protective charms.
Unlike other gods of the Alganothy pantheon, Equwala considers her followers companions rather than servants. She values humility, gentleness, and conviction without dominance.
