Tymora

Tymora is a divine entity in Sirasea. Her preferred aspect is female. She was born as the result of a series of wager, made by Aris and Azzan. The final wager was a race to the bottom of the Nine Hells from the top of Mount Celestia, with each god carrying an enormous boulder. The fierceness of their competition caused disruption across both planes as well as the Material, and ultimately the wager ended in a tie. To prevent a repeat of the incident, they agreed to create two demigods to compete on their behalves, sculpted out of the boulders they had brought with them. Tymora and her twin sister Beshaba were born as a result.
Her epithets include Lady Luck and The Smiling Lady. She is often represented as a dark skinned maiden with a radiant smile and golden hair or eyes. Her worshippers tend to focus on her divine aspects – clerics in her name are common, and their places of worship are commonly adjacent to casinos and gambling houses (the house take is considered a tithe). She is also considered a patron of divination wizards.
