Sindale
Sindale is a small sleepy town, surounded by heavily wooded and swamp areas, situated about an hour away from New Orleans. The people here live calm easy lives. Most families have been here for generations without being disturbed. The town is considered just far enough from the city to not be troubled by anything that might be going on there but close enough for any youths looking for a good time.
It used to be far bussier back in the good old days when the Sindale mines and the Mine in the nearby town of Hopedale were still fully operational.
However, one day after a massive cave in costing many miners their lives they had no choice but to close the mines pemanently. Many people were forced to move elsewhere in search of work. Many also accused the Sin family of being responsible for the collapse since they were told the swampy grounds couldn't handle being dug. This sadly also caused the relationship between both towns to sour. Especially when, after hurricane Kathrina, one of the richer families living in Sindale has proceeded to buy the land and the remains of the mine for next to nothing with the intention of reopening it, despite everyone else's protests.
