Dark Star
This man was a mere echo of the one she had loved; his delicate features were now obscured by a spinning, black void. With a flick of his hand she was released from his hold and onto the ground.
"Sasha..." She's collapsed onto her knees; her voice is weak, desperate in her attempts to speak through tears and a broken jaw, "C'mon, Sparrow, you don't have to do this..."
He looks down at her, the cold, empty void that wraps around his head offering no comfort, "During Penrose, you didn't have to risk our lives. Yet, here we are anyway."
They can both hear the distant shouts of Menagerie, Wheelhouse, and Daybreak. "Your friends will be here soon. They'll be so disappointed in you." He places his boot against her chest, "As am I." He shoves her down, her head slamming into the concrete, knocking her unconscious.

Subject: Special Request - Update I've had Mine brew up a chemical cocktail; the same thing he put O'Piea on during her treatment. It's kept him relatively complacent, although it's difficult to tell if we are making any progress with our sessions. I can't exactly read his facial expressions, but I can tell it's going to be very difficult; the last thing he wants is to hurt her. I'll keep you updated. From: Mathew Midas

Subject: Dental Care I'm sending over a courier with some plans O'Piea not-so-graciously lent me. It's a device that can hopefully stabilize the spinning head of our patient. O'Piea's notes are attached to the plans, along with some personal modifications. I will cover assembly and parts, all your men need to do is program him. As soon as he's finished, have him delivered to the dropoff we agreed upon. I expect great things from you, Dr. Hess.
