Oak Marble

Oak Marble is a traditional alcoholic beverage from the Cradle of the Stars. It is obtained through the fermentation in oak barrels of sheep's milk with fruits of Silver Oak. It takes its name from its marble appearance and strong smell.
Consumed by both the Sons of E'torrar and the Children of the Silver Lady, this drink is both a cultural and economic link. In fact, it is sometimes used as a symbol of the possible reunion of the people of the Mountain. Moreover, the fruit of the Silver Oak tree is only produced and harvested in the Silverwood Lands, while it is in the south of the island that the secret of the drink in its most widespread form is found. Although many other breweries produce similar drinks, in the eyes of the islanders and in the eyes of the law regarding the naming of these drinks, only the Oak Marble from Rivikia bears this name, the others use other names such as Goddess Milk (which is often confused with the Goddess Milk used in certain rituals related to the Moon Cult). The manufacture and marketing of this milk forces an exchange between the two countries despite their current differences and is for some the symbol of a possible reunification while it is another point of tension for others.
