Created by Stark Industries in 1953, SAI-9371, or the Omni-Wave Projector, was created to broadcast frequencies over all known and unknown planes of existence. This was Earth's first step at contacting extra-terrestrial life and allowed S.W.O.R.D. to facilitate a relationship with the Nova Corps. SAI-9371 continues to be a reliable source of communication to this very day.
