- Modified S.H.I.E.L.D. Regulation Bow: Trained in the arts of archery, Katherine Bishop prefers the use of a bow over fire arms. S.H.I.E.L.D. regulation bows are sturdy weapons made of a light weight carbon fiber composite that collapses into an easy to carry form. She has then gone on to modify said bow with Stark Tech allowing her to absorb and redirect energy.

Personal history
Katherine Elizabeth Bishop was born into the wealthy Bishop family and is the heir to the largest weapons manufacturing company on the west coast. Katherine's pampered childhood was taken from her when her parents were murdered by The Hand in a bid to obtain their assets. Katherine was saved from suffering the same fate by the San Francisco based vigilante, S.H.I.E.L.D. Threat #164 also known as Daredevil. Taken in by the operative, Katherine was trained in both martial arts and weaponry to prepare herself for her war against the Hand. Becoming adept at archery, Katherine took on the codename Hawkeye after her favorite hero and deceased S.H.I.E.L.D. Operative, Clint Barton. The two's war against the Hand didn't really catch S.H.I.E.L.D.'s attention until they brought their crusade to New York. Tracking the Hand Lieutenant, Martin Lee, to Manhattan, the two subjects encountered the New York vigilante Subject #42 also known as Spider-Man who had also been investigating Hand activity in New York. The trio formed an agreement that would see that Daredevil and Hawkeye could continue their investigation while supervised and aided by Spider-Man. Together the trio were able to prevent a resurrected Wilson Fisk and the Hand from capturing the Zodia Key and drove the Hand out of New York. After a falling out with her mentor, Katherine registered herself as a Hero for Hire with S.H.I.E.L.D. and established her base in Chinatown. Katherine took on local private investigation cases and helped defend New York from Doctor Otto Octavious #697 and his army of escaped supervillains. Katherine seems to be one of the Avengers Initiative's most promising and productive members.
