Ley Core Ore

Ley Core Ore, usually just called Ley Ore, comes from metal veins that have been saturated with ley line energy through exposure to natural ley line energy. The process of which takes countless years to achieve any meaningful impact. Each type of metal created in this fashion comes with different properties. However, they all are magical in nature.

When the ley ore is taken from the ground it does not diminish any of the energy of the ley lines that created the ore. In fact there might not even be a ley line saturating the ore anymore. Once created, even if the ley line energy moves or dissipates, the magical sediment that has attached itself to the ore remains. The ore is an independent magical source at this point. However once it is removed from the earth, it's magical properties become unstable and begin to fade unless it is properly processed in a timely manner.

Naming Conventions

Each type of Ley Ore has it's own name based on the type of ore that was infused with the ley line energy. The naming convention is relatively simple. It's Ley, the base type of ore, and then Core. For example. If the metal ore that was saturated with ley line energy was iron, the ore's name would be Ley Iron Core Ore. However most people would shorten the name it Iron Core. Using this naming convention, if the metal saturated was copper the ore would be named Ley Copper Core, or Copper Core.
