Gnomes

Gnomes, also known as the Forgotten Folk, were diminutive humanoids celebrated for their peculiar sense of humor, inquisitiveness, and adept engineering skills. While they had minimal overt impact on the world's history, their subtle and unseen influences often went unnoticed by the major powers. Despite their craftiness and proficiency in illusion magic, gnomes remained overlooked. They could be found in nearly every human city and most caravan-stop villages where they coexisted with other cultures and non-human races, albeit sometimes overlooked or tolerated.
