Fighter

The most common base class and one of the most necessary for Mu's plan to succeed, Fighters make up the backbone of his eventual army and each will be capable of taking on several units of Corrupted at a time where most of the empowered can only handle one.   Many people resent being chosen to be a fighter at first, as the other classes seem to have better powers, more interesting abilities or better social prospects. This feeling eventually fades as while the other classes struggle to remain alive in the dangerous world of The Fields; Fighters persevere, always ready for the next fight. Newcomers to the class are called Squires, and while they lack training, they do gain a certain amount of determination and natural talent for warfare.
Subclasses
Beserkers: Fighters who channel the most primal emotions to fuel their abilities, flying into rages that boost their power and cover their weakness. One beserker has the strength of ten men, if not their skill.     Dragoon: Dragoons are mounted anti-air aerial units, whose mounts allow them to get up close and personal to cripple any creature that attempts to use the sky for superiority   Duelists: Duelists focus on single target damage, their skill set is based on controlling the opponent by constantly stymieng anything they do. They are Mu's force to keep the other empowered in line. Duelists are held to the highest standards when being used against their fellow humans.

Knight Profile by Jason Nguyen

Kensai: The kensai can be thought of as the marriage of a fighter and a Monk being capable of using any Monk's martial arts through weapons. A strange combination, but nevertheless effective.   Mariner: Where the Dragoon is anti-Air, the Mariner is anti-water, capable of fighting on any place of aquatic combat, on boats, the shore, and underwater at higher levels.   Spellblade: Spell blades focus on weaving magic and steel together in their combat style. While never as powerful as a pure Mage or Fighter, they make up for it with sheer versatility. their unpredictability and general skill in melding the two skill sets make them particularly dangerous for those who underestimate them.     Spellbreakers   Tacticians: Where most fighters gain abilities based on direct combat, Tacticians are the officers, the commanders, the generals of the army, telling the other units where to go, what to do. They don't gain much personal power, but they can still hold their own in a fight, their main strength the bonuses they give to any units under their commands.
