Nirati

The Nirati are a human group that are descended from the ancient Nirati Empire. This ethnic group of copper-skinned, dark-haired people developed into the most advanced culture of their time, introducting trans-continental seafaring, remarkable feats in arts and engineering, and the development of many peculiar magics.
The worldwide tsunami that marked the end of the War of the Falling Stars destroyed most seaside Nirati settlements, and the Nirati people's influence in the world waned with time.  Many were eventually exterminated from the lands they had colonized. The only significant population remains in Nirat , with a small cohort of Nirati making their home in Taliston .
