Treaty of the Shard
During the Age of Adventure, the continent of Taurine, rich with powerful artifacts and items created during the Age of Invention, was like a magnet for adventurers, thieves and anarchists. Power lay in the hands of whomever controlled the most powerful artifacts, items and spells. Nothing was sacred, and nowhere was safe, with the groups delving to greater, more destructive depths to out-do each other. With the majority of the country in ruins, the remnants of the previous governmental system came up with an audacious plan to unite the entire world against the uncontrollable anarchy of the Age of Adventure. They knew that many of The United States of Turmerica and The Isles of Sherberre's treasures, wonders and artifacts had been stolen by adventurers, and were currently residing somewhere on Taurine. An agreement was reached, and the three nations signed the treaty, declaring peace, and vowing to bring to justice any of their citizens who would try to bring harm to other Shardinians.
