Liundyall Fey (Lee-yoon-dya-ahl Fay)

The Capital city of the Yen Fey and home to their ruler, the conduit of Peglitus.

Government

Citizens are encouraged but not required to worship Peglitus, the patron of the Empire. Citizens are required to show respect to nature and the natural however.
The Conduit rules the Empire and resides within the city. At regular intervals, the citizens of both the city and empire at large must send a gift to the Conduit as payment for residing within the empire. The gift isn't one way however, as the Conduit sends an appropriate gift in return for what they recieved.

Infrastructure

Being close with nature, heavy industrial buildings and structures and actively discouraged. Instead, much of the empire and city is run off of wind or water power.
As a result, the Empire and city have become masters of aqueducts and waterways (simlar to babylon or the incans).

Districts

There is a large religious district with temples to many of the gods of Shalar. The are dedicated to Peglitus is much larger and grandiose however. This area is also where the Conduit resides.
Aside from the religious sector, the rest of the city has a flowing and open plan. Not entirely separated into distinct districts or class heiarchy, everything is generally mixed and intermingled.

History

The lands controlled by the Empire used to be wild and separate. After some time, the Conduit gained a significant following and brought some semblance of structure to the previously chaotic nature of the Skylands. Thus the Empire of Chains was established, its headquarters on the bottomless lake, a gift from Peglitus himself for his followers dedication.

Architecture

The architecture is very open and one with nature. Beauty meant to blend in with the natural around it. Very inspired by feudal era japan and china.

Geography

A large crystal clear lake sits on the north eastern edge of the city. Many colorful trees are scattered throughout the city and surrounding lands; pink, golden yellow, red, orange, blue, green.
