Helen is a tall, muscular woman. Her skin is tanned, with olive undertones, but the pigmentation is somewhat uneven. She has some small scarring across her body, but nothing of particular note.

She is more handsome than classically beautiful, but she is very at home in her body and her looks. Her face has some acne scarring across the cheeks.

She tends to dress in a lot of black, often tanks with jeans or cargo pants and work boots. She can clean up if forced, but she's not willing to go through the effort for just anything. She wears little make up, usually just a lot of dark eyeliner and either chapstick or lipstick depending on her mood. She likes mismatched earrings and wears quite a bit of jewelry. Most of her jewelry are charms or other tools of her craft.

Personal history
Helen was orphaned as an infant, and raised in group homes. When she was still quite young, she was taken in by a foster family who happened to also be witches, siphoning off the power of the witch children they fostered to heighten their own spells. She ended up in no little trouble, lashing out at the world and when she finally escaped them and her magic came crashing back at full power she lost it for a while.
Eventually, she got her shit together. Made a plan. Got vengeance. Got arrested. Met a lawyer who also happened to be a witch. Got off on charges because she hid the evidence well enough. Dated the hot lawyer. Founded a brewery. Settled down. Got the hot lawyer to move in with her. Lived happily every after.
