The Cowboy Way
The Cowboy Way, named after more iconic American
practitioners, has its origins further back with the Huns,
Tartars, and even Persians who used the lasso in hand
to hand combat to ensnare opponents and to drag
them off horses or out of formation to be killed. Today
the technique includes a mix of gun fighting, rope use,
and unarmed combat stylized by trids. It does not require
wearing a ten-gallon hat, but some practitioners
do anyway. Especially those with Distinctive Style.
