The Christmas Job
(Zipline) Zipline got the bright idea to go around Chicago to hit a bunch of stores and steal stuff to pass around to the kids in Englewood for the holidays. One or two stores ain't all that hard, but after a couple dozen, things started to get hairy...
(Alpha) We gather in the electronics store, staring at the dead body.
"I thought you said there wasn't a guard?"
"None living when we showed up, I guess."
Then we hear the door being banged on. "Open up, Police!"
Zipline checked the back door - no dice. Cops there too. Zip could get out a window to the roof, but we couldn't. Alpha looked around and quickly grabbed a store employee polo, heading to the door to fast-talk the cops. Alpha could probably con them for a while... but sooner or later, the cops would catch on.
(Eddie) Eddie was tagging a building nearby when he noticed the cops, and figured they had him until something got their attention from the store. Relieved ,he finished the tag. May as well return the favor with a distraction.
"Yo, pigs! [Gang Name] for life!" He got their attention and led them away from the store, and eventually lost them.
