Fusion Character in Shadowrun: Englewood | World Anvil

Fusion

An ork rigger with a serious taste for speed, Fusion is currently the undisputed leader of the Halloweeners in Englewood. After the Second Valentines Day Massacre, Fusion's go ganger set of the Halloweeners, called the Death Heads, were the biggest set left standing. Though she's absorbed the remnants of the other sets, she struggled for a little while with what to do with them... running the whole of the Halloweeners in Englewood was different than just the Death's Heads.   She'd run her set for two years before Valentines Day. The first year that Fusion and the Death Heads spent in Englewood was dedicated to upgrading their bikes for the broken terrain of the Noose just to the north. The next year was spent dominating the roads, and hitting people that gave the all woman set any static. Now, she's leading more men than women, so that isn't really brought up at all any more - and two of the leaders of the Big Four are women, so if anybody had a problem, they're quiet about it now. Still, she's not just making money smuggling drugs, but instead she's controlling corners, and running gambling dens, and even a bar and a strip club. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. It's worked out, though. By keeping her head down and pressing on, and staying out of the fights in the district, the Halloweeners are currently the biggest gang in Englewood.   The Halloweeners OGs had a bad time of it during the Massacre, but most of the 'weeners themselves made themselves scarce. But they have a ton of orks and dwarves on bikes, a handful of trolls, and even an elf or two. You can tell the ladies of the old Death's Head set because of their modified dirt bikes rather than the racing bikes that most of the gang has now.   Mara is the only other set leader besides Fusion to make it through the Massacre. A Dwarf Physical Adept whose abilities lend themselves to biking, she's able to outperform Fusion on a bike, even though she's not a rigger. Her set takes being survivors seriously, and call themselves the Bloody Valentines now, so everybody knows who they are.   Carla Green has come up from the ranks as an OG as well, and is one tough lady. But, she did manage to get herself mind controlled by a Wendigo, and would be dead if it weren't for the Almighty Saviors. And then when she killed an alderman's brother because he raped her niece, the Saviors put in the legwork to get her off on justifiable homicide.   In late 2054, an orc came up to Englewood from the 'weeners in the CAS, laying low after causing too much trouble there. There's some friction between The Ripper and Fusion, but he's a much needed heavy hitter.   Katakomb is the leader of the Flaming Pumpkins set, and is about as fanatical as you can get about being a Halloweener. Even if their home is Englewood, the Pumpkins run all over the city, and lots of people outside of the 'hood think that this orc's the shot caller for the gang.   With Fusion looking after the whole of the gang, Isis took over the Death's Head set not long after joining the gang. She's not a Death's Head original, but the ladies of the set look up to this elf, and the whole gang celebrated when they finally got a mage in their ranks.   Mimir is one of the few true riggers among the Halloweeners, and though most people would say he's small and frail for a troll, that gives him a build that lets him fit in better among humans - except, of course, for his horns. Leading the Morticians set, Mimir is also the go to man for hacking for the 'weeners.   Ogressa is an orc who joined the Halloweeners after they absorbed more than half of the members of Englewood's First Nations gang when it broke up, and is the leader of the Hallow Nation set. Many of the Hallow Nation are poor bikers, riding for the first time in the winter of 2055. But they've been through a gang war, and are armed to the teeth.   Sangoma is an orc wolf shaman who just got patched in to the Halloweeners. She'd ridden with the 912 Hellhounds, a supporter gang of the nationwide Halloweener Motorcycle Club, and what the mages in Englewood were doing drew her attention. She got permission to repatch as a Halloweener, breezed through her initiation, and has started the Hellhounds set, named in honor of her old gang.   Like the Almighty Saviors, the Halloweeners recognize talent from within. Nails and Carnival have been running corners in Englewood since Fusion took over, and in early 2055 they'd pulled together enough scratch to get some cybersurgery done. In March they made a name for themselves, beating down a crew of Dos Kings who had come into Englewood showing colors. And Dante has been running his corner like a boss, and for months now he's been looking after his people when the Eagle hassles them. The troll's got a rep for keeping a cool head.   Mara
