Detective Athack

Eagle Security doesn't have a monopoly on policing Chicago. Tosh Athack is a Knight Errant detective and works their Special Crimes Task Force. He’s a troll, and not the cleanest officer on KE’s payroll. Tosh likes to say that his retirement plan sucks, so he’s always looking to pad his nest egg. In return, he can help make minor infractions “slip through the cracks” or hook someone up with some info on a case, so long as it doesn’t put his job in jeopardy.
Tosh is a bit of a thug. A big troll, he tops 3 meters high, not counting his bull-like horns. He knows that trolls are expected to be stupid and will play on that stereotype. He’s been frequently cited for excessive force and even brutality on the job, but he’s proven himself valuable enough to the department that he’s avoided demotion or suspension so far.
He was the officer in charge of the arrest of Dr. Tojiro. Strangest thing about that arrest, Dr. Tojiro claims he was cybering up a lot of girls to be brothel ready, but they weren't ending up in any Chicago brothels. Detective Athack's discreetly let it be known that he'd love to find out what was going on with that.
Detective Athack was involved in the take down of the new 20K killer, and it was actually a Knight Errant officer behind the trigger of the cannon that took down the cyberzombie. After that, Tosh didn't let it rest, but instead kept digging into everything that might have been going on there. And, during that digging, he put together his own team of Knight Errant officers who all had an interest in seeing that something like that didn't happen again. 

Tosh's second on the team is Evans. She's a dwarf who came over to Knight Errant, and also operates the team's heavy weapons. Then there's Arashi, she's an elf who is an instructor for infiltration techniques for Knight Errant's SWAT. Then there's Garfield, he's an ork physical adept who's known Tosh for years. For the last two members of the team, Detective Athack took a page from the Untouchables, and recruited a couple of guys right out of their training. Raley and Michaels are a mage and the team's computer operator, respectively.
