20K Killer

The first 20K Killer was active in the months before the campaign started. The 20K Killer got his moniker not because he was a member of the Alamos 20K, but instead because he targeted members of the Humanis Policlub, who were certainly sympathetic to, if not members of, Alamos 20K. That killer was extremely cybered up, but wasn't a cyber zombie. Working together, Tags, Mr. Clean, and Trapdoor were able to bring him down - or mostly, the spirits summoned by Tags and Clean were able to. They never did find out much about what was behind the 20K Killer, though.   The second 20K Killer became active in July, 205x. Its first victims were a small gang, the Halstead Boys. An all human gang, the Halstead Boys had a corner that the Halloweeners wanted, and they by default took it over because the 'Boys were wiped out. In August, it becomes more difficult to pin down exactly what happened. Lots of gang activity was happening, and the 20K Killer became a good excuse to blame on bodies dropped - and since the Cutters/First Nations war was hot then, who actually killed what group of people is the subject of rumor and exaggeration. But, nobody doubts that the new 20K Killer was active then.   In September of 2054, the Almighty Saviors figured out the movements of the New 20K Killer, and snitched on him to Knight Errant. Nobody on the streets really knows that they ratted him out, and given that he was a serial killer targeting gang members, and possibly somehow gang associates - it's still not really known how he was picking targets - the Saviors probably wouldn't take a big hit to their rep. Still, Knight Errant got the US government involved, and the New 20 K Killer was himself killed by a spec ops team.
Dead man, dead man. When will you arise?
