Tvus
The world of the Vet'Vus is called the Tvus Waters, for the waters are more important than the lands to the shulte who live there. A maze of narrow islands ring an ever churning oceanic geyser called the Seething Sea. In the furthest reaches of the Waters, sailors have attempted to travel beyond the horizon, but they never return. Those who venture too far from lands report strange currents that threaten to pull ships away from land forever. The few captains who have encountered these currents and escaped swear to never tempt fate again.
It is difficult to pinpoint where the Vet'Vus cultures call home, with the exception of the Mivu land dwellers who live on dry land in or near the city of Mivuax. The Rinshi drift along currents in great floating settlements. Tzudzehkt fiercely guard the secret locations of their underground cities. And the Ulyek travel the deep waters of the high seas in great city-sized mega ships.
Climate
Tvus receives the most rain of any of the four worlds. Seasons are thought of as wet and dry, rather than hot and cold. But even the dry season still has regular rain, so many Vet'Vus joke that Tvus has a wet season and then a wetter season.
The Tvus Waters are subject to great typhoons which can cause incredible damage, especially to the Rinshi floating communities.
Fauna & Flora
The Tvus Waters are also home to the helpful water dragons, called Vafke. The Vet'vus assure me that they have a symbiotic and caring relationship with their afke. They believe this is possible for all people, if other shulte would only make the effort.
All lore is from an "in character" perspective.
