Beifong Railways Train

The subcontractor Beifong Railways operates an extensive rapid transit network in the Earth Republic and Republic City. The most important line connects Republic City with Ba Sing Se and another route connects Omashu with the capital of the Earth Republic.. Each train is equipped with different classes, from “basic ride” to the rental of a luxury wagon.
The luxury cars can only be afforded by the richest Corpos and are equipped with panoramic windows, a pool and private bar. The pool does not overflow thanks to the inertia dampers. On the other hand the cheapes tickets are still not accessible to most residents and cannot be booked without ID.
The main depot of the railroads is located in Ba Sing Se under the Beifong Railways mega building.

Power Generation

The rail network is powered by energy from the large power plants in the megacities. The energy reaches the trains via the rails.

Propulsion

The towing vehicle pulls the train with 8 electric motors produced by Beifong Steelworks.

Weapons & Armament

The standard trains are unarmed. However, there are rumors about a military version of the train, which can be used by Beifong Steelworks. A variant of the train is said to be equipped with surface-to-air missiles, ground-to-ground armament and additional armor. This emerges from a leak that has been denied to this day. However, the sudden disappearance of the whistleblower reinforces the suspicion that the rumor is true.

Communication Tools & Systems

Each train has a customized radio system produced by Beifong Steelworks. This enables communication with the railroad control center.
