While it falls well within the control of Toyota-Huawei's Public Security Bureau, HSMBC's significant investment and infrastructure within the region remains a central point of tension within the region.
In June 2049, Hong Kong was the target of a coordinated cyber-physical attack. The HSMBC Data Warehouse in Sham Chung was struck by unknown assailants, which inflicted substantial damage to the nearby harbor and nautical traffic navigating the waters.
