The Truth Seeing Eye of the Inner Mind is a passive spell that becomes a part of the mage once learned. The principal abilities it grants upon mastery are as follows.

• Clairvoyance: The power to acquire information using sight outside the normal detection range. Users can acquire information using sight outside the normal detection range about an object, person, location, or physical event.

• Precognition: The power to perceive the future. Users acquire impossible knowledge of future events through supernatural means.

• Spiritual Awareness: Heightened spiritual sensitivity, including the ability to sense energy, or the energetic fields of people, places, or objects. This spiritual awareness can also allow a deeper understanding of one's soul or higher self.

• Past Life Awareness: The power to allow the user to remember some/all of their past lives. Users have the power to remember some, or each and everyone, of their past lives. The user can even remember every power from their past lives to use them.

Access to Past Lives

The truth seeing eye allows one to become aware of past lives, aquiring knwoledge and wisdom from their past selves. However, when taken further with skilled mastery, mages can tap into the powers and abilities of their past life, gaining a wide range of skills and magic. Beyond this, mages can even peer into the future to aquire powers and abilites of their future self to compound themselves now.
Mages who know 3rd Body Art: The Rite of Innumerable Transformations can, through their mind's eye, aquire the transformations of their past lives as well gaining the benefits that come with it. When this Rite is used in this manner, it equates to Ancestral Merging (The power to gain the power of one's ancestors by merging with them.). In this application, the normal death rule of 72 lives per transformation no longer applies, at least to past lives. Something that has already died cannot die again, and thus past life transformations can survive more than 72 deaths. However, inversely, applying the same logic to a Future Life Transformation will kill that future person at the exact space-time that the current life envoked the spell, cutting their life short.

Manifestation

The Truth Seeing Eye of the Inner Mind manifests as a golden and orange vertical eye on the forehead, almost robotic in apperance. It remains open at all times, on constant watch for falsehoods.

The Truth Seeing Eye of the Inner Mind is aquired via meditation and self-reflection, an extremely varied process from person to person, and thus there exists no single method to opening the eye. Chiefly, this spell is not a means to aquire a Truth Seeing Eye, as everyone already has one, this spell is a means to open the eye and to make the mage aware of it.

Applied Restriction

The Truth Seeing Eye is a passive spell that always works, even to the mage's detriment. Such an example is the 3rd Body Art: The Rite of Innumerable Transformations spell which cannot be learned by a mage with an open Truth Seeing Eye as its very nature repels falsehoods. The same can be said for the School of Illusion Magic, which becomes considerably more difficult, if not impossible to learn when this eye is opened. The only solution is to either rip the eye out of one's head, an extremely painful solution or to learn how to turn this spell inside out and close the eye.
Learning to open and close the Truth Seeing Eye on command without failure is a greater showcase of self-mastery and magical control than simply opening it once. By learning to open and close the eye of the mind, a mage can make use of all its powers and abilities while not impeding their magical pursuits. The only downside is that opening and closing the eye will have an associated magical energy cost whereas when it is open, all powers are passive.
