Effect

Power Yang is the ability to manipulate, generate, shape, and absorb cosmic forces, allowing the user to impose their will upon the fundamental forces that govern the universe. This power extends beyond conventional energy manipulation, granting its wielder access to the pure structural elements of existence itself. At its core, Power Yang enables:

  • Matter-Energy Manipulation: The conversion of energy into matter and vice versa, transmuting elements, celestial materials, and cosmic substances at will.
  • Space-Time Alteration: The controlled distortion and reformation of space-time continua, enabling the creation of stable or unstable distortions, localized temporal shifts, or even timeline divergences.
  • Reality Fabrication: The ability to impose alterations upon the metaphysical structure of existence, reinforcing or rewriting the rules governing physics and metaphysics.
  • Dimensional Engineering: The generation of force fields, interdimensional rifts, spatial vortexes, and stabilized wormholes, allowing for cross-realm travel, defensive constructs, or even the formation of self-contained pocket realities.
  • Psionics and Cosmic Awareness: Power Yang grants heightened perception of celestial events, existential anomalies, and quantum fluctuations, enabling deep insight into the nature of the cosmos and its interactions.
  • Energy Projection and Amplification: The direct utilization of raw cosmic energy, manifesting as plasma bursts, gravitational anomalies, stellar radiation, and directed cosmic discharges.

Users of Power Yang also possess dominion over celestial-scale phenomena, including but not limited to:

  • The direct summoning, manipulation, or alteration of comets, asteroids, moons, planets, stars, nebulae, neutron stars, pulsars, quasars, black holes, and white holes.
  • The ability to generate and control stellar phenomena such as solar winds, radiation storms, magnetospheric pulses, and interstellar matter displacement.
  • The invocation of cosmic events such as meteor showers, planetary alignments, supernovae bursts, and gravitational singularities.

Additionally, Power Yang can be weaponized, making it an ultimate force in combat. Users can directly reinforce their physical form with cosmic resilience, manipulate gravity, or harness the energy of celestial bodies as a direct offensive force. With sufficient control, they can disrupt or negate lesser forms of energy-based attacks and even dismantle artificial or naturally occurring energy fields.

Infinite Magic: The Yang Aspect of the Cosmic Balance

Power Yang represents the Yang component in the Yin-Yang equation that governs Magic. While Yin corresponds to Mana, the raw magical energy originating from the 5th Dimension, Yang embodies Cosmic Power, a natural, self-generating source of universal energy. This bifurcated energy system ensures that all beings possessing a SOUL can naturally interact with Magic via their Mana Cells—intrinsic biological structures that regulate magical energy capacity.

  • Every being possesses a finite number of Mana Cells, which serve as their capacity for storing and manipulating Yin (Mana).
  • A similar Yang-based reservoir exists within their cosmic anatomy, functioning as a Cosmic Well—a natural limiter that defines the extent to which they can safely generate or wield cosmic power.

However, Power Yang is a unique exception to this limitation. Unlike conventional Yang energy, which is finite and bound by biological constraints, Power Yang overrides these natural limits, allowing the user to tap into a theoretically infinite source of Cosmic Power without succumbing to energy depletion.

  • A being who possesses Power Yang alone gains infinite Cosmic Power, enabling limitless celestial and reality-altering feats but still requiring Yin (Mana) for magical applications.
  • A being who acquires both Power Yang and Power Yin attains a limitless reserve of Magical Energy, capable of generating endless magical outputs and sustaining perpetual magical effects.
  • While Power Yang grants infinite energy generation, the application of that energy within the metaphysical framework of magic requires Yin. Therefore, a user with only Power Yang will still need an external supply of Mana (Yin) to cast high-level magical effects.

In essence, Power Yang represents the mastery of external cosmic forces, while Power Yin represents the mastery of internal metaphysical energy. A being with both does not just command infinite power, they become an extension of reality itself, making them one of the most potent entities in the entire Hyperverse.

Side/Secondary Effects

  • Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user and their power's natural limits.
  • Requires training to prevent any side effects.
  • Misuse of this power can be catastrophic.
  • May be susceptible to Cosmic Radiation Poisoning.

Manifestation

Limited use of the Power Yang does not affect the body. Prolonged or regular use of the Power Yang will cause the skin of the being to become a pure shade of silver and any hair they might possess will fall off.

Source

Magic is not an independent force; rather, it is the product of two fundamental energies:

  • Mana (Yin): Raw magical energy originating from the 5th Dimension, accessible only to beings with a SOUL. It is a metaphysical, intangible essence that governs spells, rituals, and supernatural phenomena.
  • Natural Energy (Yang): The cosmic, existential force derived from the physical and spiritual environment, serving as a stabilizing counterpart to Mana. It is responsible for magic’s persistence in reality rather than its direct application.

The interaction between Yin (Mana) and Yang (Natural Energy) within Mana Cells determines the form of magic a being can access. These cells function as both energy regulators and conductive networks, allowing an individual to channel and shape magical forces.

  • Magic is only possible when Yin and Yang energies interact.
  • The balance of these energies determines the nature of the magic wielded.
  • Imbalances in the cosmic distribution of Yin and Yang create variations in magical properties across different multiversal domains.

Within the Hyperverse, all beings fall into three primary classifications, each dictating the type of energy they can access and the magic they can wield:

ClassificationEnergy SourceMagic Type
Hieropolitan (Holy Citizen)Hiero EnergyHallowed Magic
Thnētopolitan (Mortal Citizen)Natural EnergyNeutral Magic
Bebelopolitan (Profane Citizen)Darkness EnergyBlack Magic

The distribution of Light and Darkness across different multiverses affects the dominant magic systems within those domains.

  • When Light (Hieropolitan energy) merges with Natural Energy (Yang), it creates Hallowed Magic.
  • When Darkness (Bebelopolitan energy) merges with Natural Energy, it creates Black Magic.
  • When Light and Darkness exist in equal measure, they cancel each other out, generating pure Natural Energy.

Hallowed and Black Magic only manifest when there is an imbalance of cosmic forces. Mortal Domains lack strong magical polarities, as both Light and Darkness neutralize each other. Holy and Profane Domains are inherently more magically polarized, making their inhabitants either highly structured or highly chaotic.

The Nature of Power Yang: A Bestowed Force

Unlike conventional Yang energy, Power Yang is not something that can be naturally inherited—it must be granted, transferred, or stolen. This makes it a rarity within the Hyperverse, reinforcing its status as a controlled and high-stakes force.

  • Power Yang can only be given by a small number of entities.
  • Once granted, it becomes an intrinsic part of the recipient’s cosmic identity.
  • The wielder of Power Yang cannot transfer it to others, making it a non-heritable force.
  • The only ways to lose Power Yang are:
  • Voluntary relinquishment—where the user consciously purges themselves of the power.
  • Forced revocation—where the original benefactor strips the power away.
