Qualifications
The title of KENSEI transcends that of a mere Sword Saint. While a Sword Saint achieves mastery over the physical art of swordsmanship—capable of feats like cutting mountains or cleaving the heavens—a KENSEI masters something far greater: the Blade Called I, a metaphysical blade that cleaves not through mere objects but through the very fabric of reality. A KENSEI has fully realized their Dharma, the unique path or potential that defines their true purpose. By wielding the Blade Called I, they sever their fate from external forces, carving their path free from the constraints of the world. This mastery extends beyond the sword; it is a mastery of self-determination and will. For a KENSEI, Forme does not dictate Function—their body or form does not limit their potential. Rather, their function, their ability to shape their destiny through willpower and Dharma, defines who they are. The KENSEI embodies the ultimate synthesis of mind, body, and soul, proving that one’s true power lies not in physical prowess alone, but in the ability to carve their fate.
