Session 8: The First Night and Further Exploration of the Outer Filth Report
General Summary
The 8th of Flamerule:
The party finished their first night in Arrowmire in Snakeyes. Orathar, Penny and Kinzie, never showed up, but Loranys, Vanomi, and Asa ran into a Kenku, Gymthel, a lover of mysteries. Loranys discovered/knew that the head of the Balven house is Hammon Balven. Gymthel had taken an interest in helping Vanomi, the little one, read and write, to become a better person.The 9th of Flamerule:
In the morning Asa served the party a lovely breakfast and stated that she wished to stay with the party to help them on their journey. The party left Snakeyes to keep looking for Finbar O'Conaire. But ran into a bunch of bandits from Doomthorn who wanted to teach the party a lesson, but did not succeed. The party visited the jail to see if Finbar, Orathar, Penny, or Kinzie were there, they were not. They also went to the Soulburn Mortuary, where they discovered that most meat in the Outer Filth is human. They also visited the Shrine of Bhaal, and Hag's Haven. They discovered that the butcher in the Merchant Circle name is Kirseat Shatterhand. They returned to the guards at the southern gate, where they delivered Loranys "ward papers" and an invitation to the Dutchess's party on the 12th of Flamerule.The 10th of Flamerule:
With an invitation to a party with the nobles looming over them, they went to the Bargain Bric-a-Brac Boutique. The party did a mixture of stealing and purchasing to obtain "party" clothes. Loranys needs to check in the next morning to see how much of a silk suit, and two dresses are complete. They found a Shrine to Mask, the god of thieves who smiled down kindly on Vanomi for her actions at the Bargain Bric-a-Brac Boutique. They also found two warehouses controlled by the Contract Shadows, a supplies warehouse, and a place where they keep people in shackles, where they identified one as Orathar. The party ended their day back at Snakeyes.Rewards Granted

- Go to Klesavaria, Church of the Forest, The True Pasture, the Chapel of Earth, and Perpetual Flowers to Find any more information about Zul Devonshire. And bring any unprotected Druids back to Starsummit
- Find out more about the imbalance and chaos in magic. Go to the Bratrelts Academy of Wizardry and see what the Wizards might know
- Find Tofi Glowgrip and find out how he can help Herbert (possibly at The White Garden)
- Figure out what happened to Lomnabelle, the daughter of the Innkeeper, who was last seen at the sanctuary of Perpetual Flowers.
- Go North to find Orathar's wife and child, who may be sent to be sacrificed to a dragon. (If he lets anyone know about this) (Neverharbor)
- Hunt down and kill Zul Devonshire
- Ignore the Druids and see what happens
- Bring what you discovered to Abubin Jaffré back in Starsummit and/or: Try and find Aubin Jaffré's Grandparents in the Astral Plane.
