Shield of Sephiran
The Shield of Sephiran is a conjurable magical sphere of protection that can only be summoned by gods. It shields the entire body from any attack and is nigh indestructible, even when faced with the most powerful magics. It is usually depicted as a light blue translucent sphere surrounding its user from a foot above the head to a foot below the toes shown either reflecting magic attacks or negating them entirely.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The shield is made with the combined magic and essences of all 8 Beisha High Priests, eight of the most powerful mages in the world. As a result, the shield can block or deflect literally anything and regenerate on command. However, if it is not complete, there will be weak spots where it can easily break with enough pressure.
Manufacturing process
A Beisha High Priest must pray, casting the spell Sephrahim. The pieces then all come together at a particular time when they are needed most.
History
Sephiran went to the Astral Crater and created the shield from some of the magical debris shortly after he received a premonition of the Scouring where he was greatly injured.
Significance
Many religious sects have tried to recreate the mythical shield based on what they perceive it to look like in order to boost morale.
