Avelgarde is a keystone settlement in Nikkon culture, home to such key figures as Saint Zenkofarihm, Nimue Stivavoge, Youdron Taro
Demographics
The entire population consists of Winter Nikkon.
Government
Rules are enforced and the troop is organized by a chieftain, but the people act mostly independent true to their nomadic ancestry.
Defences
There are a number of palisades around the edges. Near the southern gate are stone towers occupied by snipers.
Industry & Trade
Hunting, fishing, gathering, farming, mending, tanning, artisanship, falconry, shopkeeping, innkeeping. Although Avelgarde prides itself on being self-sufficient for the most part, they have been known to accept goods such as iron ore.
Districts
The Nikkon Warriors' military camp is located on the western edge and the temple grounds to the north. It is also where most of the crops grow.

History
Avelgarde is one of the oldest and most important Nikki settlements. A sect of the traditionally nomadic people built a hamlet on the sacred grounds of their patron saint, Zenkofarihm--The Nine-Tailed Nikki.

Tourism
Most outsiders who come to Avelgarde are pilgrims seeking to receive wisdom and the blessing of Saint Zenkofarihm, the Nikki's patron saint and High Priest.
Architecture
Most of Avelgarde's establishments are fortified tents with the exception of the stone temple.
Geography
Avelgarde is located in a snow plain in the midst of a forest. A river flows at the settlement's northwest edge.
