When Lenas' Lute is played it has been known to recall long forgotten memories of the listener. The memories will appear as mist and play out the memory in front of the player. Lyrics are also needed to help recall the memories so a skilled bard is needed to make the lute work properly. It has also been said that the lute can store magical energy and that the silver flower on the lute itself will be closed while storing energy and then will appear in full bloom as it releases the stored energy.

Raw materials & Components

The lute is made from the wood of a blackthorn tree with silver inlaid frets and tuning knobs. The lute has silver filigrees of leaves and vines with one vine sprouting a silver flower on the body of the lute. The strings are also made of silver so strong that they do not need to be replaced. The lute also never needs to be tuned.
It is said that Lenas' husband made the lute for her when they were first married. According to the tale it was proof of his devotion to her. Yet it seems it was not enough since the story tells of a sea witch that lured the husband away and cast a spell so that he forgot his love for Lena.
