Order of Dwynwen

Structure

The master ameliorate is in charge of the order. The ameliorate will in times of national emergency report to the government. The reports are informative about the casualties in times of war and supplies needed to treat wounds or disease that has spread throughout the Island. There are initiates in training taught by the Aquarians. Aquarians are those in the order who have graduated schooling. They can teach or travel the world healing by order of Dwynwen. Those that travel will sometimes set up churches in other cities. Unlike other churches where much preaching occurs, churches of Dwynwen focus solely on healing body and mind.
Another select group guard the sacred falls of Cascadia called the warriors of Dwynwen. These are the only group who are allowed to inflict harm on others in order to protect the falls from being desecrated. Years of vigorous study must be done in order to be a guardian of the falls. Not only do they learn how to heal, but they also learn how to effectively hurt someone and create life ending wounds.

Public Agenda

The Order of Dwynwens' main goal is to heal all who are afflicted with pain. This includes physical as well as mental pain. The Order is well equipped to help take care of the suffering.

Mythology & Lore

It is said that the goddess Dwynwen created the island of Cascadia to heal the ailments of mankind. She was tired of seeing the fighting and sadness that she wanted to do something different. So she caused the sea to sink low and reveal the island that would become Cascadia. She then filled a few waterfalls with her godly essence and instructed the people on the island to guard them safely. While they should allow those that need healing to come, there would be some who would want to control the falls and use them for evil.
