Spirit Foxes

When kitsune reach around two and a half centuries in age, they go through a spiritual change. One possible result of this is that they return as a spirit fox, a sort of ancestral spirit among kitsune.
Spirit foxes are immaterial most of the time, but they retain who they were in life and seem to gain a different perspective. They give advice, guidance and protection to the clan where they can. Eventually they reach the Fading when they either grow weary or choose to pass on and go to the Sable Lady's embrace.
Many of the spirit foxes from the Lightweaver Enclave have their home in the Spirit Forest around the enclave.
