Ekthar's House
Ekthar's house is located in Hesta's Smile. The building is a single, gigantic clam, at least fifty feet from one rim to the other, that rests on stone pillars. Its exterior glows like mother of pearl, providing a surprising amount of illumination in the shadows of Nocturne.
A circular stone wall near the lowest point forms almost a tower. A door is set into this, complete with a glittering door knocker that looks like it's made of gold.
Inside is a wooden spiral staircase winding upward, the dark wood gleaming as if recently polished.
Built into one internal wall is a small house. This multi-roomed structure is the perfect size for Tin, Ekthar's pixie partner. Some five or six of his kind could live within the rambling manor attached to the wall. At about human head height the miniature house has a large balcony, complete with several small chairs, a table, and a nearby cage holding a few dozen fireflies.
