Aspirant Clan

Hailing from the Thorned Wood on the southern tip of Algaria, the Aspirant Clan (who may have another name for themselves) is one branch of the Illisyr. While they identify as Illisyr, like all of their people, they've chosen their own path to what they view as perfection. In their case, the Aspirant Clan don't directly worship the Dowager, but instead worship a Supreme Guardian, Hunter, and Shaper as intermediaries. These are demigods which arose from the clan in the service of the Dowager. Members of the clan who've successfully completed a pilgrimage to the World Tree are allowed a single chance to challenge one of the three Supremes for their power and position. These challenges are almost always to the death.
