Nature's Court

A major deity of Senkar are the faces of Nature's Court, who shaped each species at the dawn of time. The five faces of the goddess are:

• The Queen - Keeper of balance among the elements, patron of plants and fauna.
• The Princess - Sometimes called the Maiden, the Princess is the bringer of new life, the kindest of the faces. She is depicted as youthful, and is aligned with the element of water. Her cardinal direction is the north.
• The Dowager - Culler of the old and weak, the Dowager is nonetheless not cruel, she is the one who makes room in the world for new growth. She is sometimes called the Crone, and is depicted as being old and grim, and is aligned with the element of fire. Her cardinal direction is the south.
• The Guardian - Protector of order and stability, the Guardian is the one who protects and shields communities from their enemies, and is the patron of crafters. The Guardian is aligned with the element of earth, and her cardinal direction is the east.
• The Shifter - The shifter is the representative of freedom and the ever-changing wind, and as such is the patron of travelers and explorers. She is flighty and free-roaming, and aligned with the element of wind and skies. Her cardinal direction is the west.
