Andrew Loth
Andrew Loth was a high priest of the Phoenix Queen some seventy years ago. The nation of Loth is named after him.
Andrew was a particularly powerful priest who'd reached the eighth circle of fire magic, possibly the ninth. During the war with the demonic cults, he used the Dawnstone to lock the dimensions across the entire country. With the demons trapped and confused, Andrew led the charge on the biggest stronghold of demon worshippers in the country. Andrew died killing the gathered leaders of the cults, as well as the most powerful demons.
The Dawnstone burnt out from overuse, but even now the barriers between Loth and other worlds are harder to breach.

The reality of Andrew Loth's story differs from the official one. In life, he wasn't a member of the church, but was a powerful mage specializing in light and fire magic. When he died, he was given an honorary position to honor his deeds.
What even the church leaders didn't realize is that Andrew stole the Dawnstone from the great tree Ignos in Nocturne, having first seduced its guardian Trianna. When Trianna tried to stop him, he stabbed her with a dagger made of cold iron, a piece of which is still lodged in her heart. As a result of the theft of the Dawnstone, the light of Ignos went out and the Dawn Realm became the Darkening Realm.
Jasmine and her companions were able to restore the Dawnstone to Ignos, and healed Trianna as well.
