When the goddess decided to create her people, she chose to have just a few who could learn, grow and affect the world with magic much like the fantasy races of many games from the old world.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Until the time of chaos any physical union of an olau and a hoku would have to be blessed by the goddess before a child could be conceived such as how all hoku children are conceived. Such children race are called okubili, and the more hoku is in their background, the stronger and widely varied their ability to use magic is.
