Kanooshar (kahn'OO'shahr)
Kanooshar is home to the largest law school in Yzel and many government officials come in order to be educated. Most of the business in town is centered around the school and supporting it. Due to the number of wealthy students living on campus, the entertainment industry of the town, particularly brothels and taverns, flourishes.
- Yuridan Academy: founded in 731, this is the premier law school in Yzel and one of the top in the world. Many famous lawyers and judges were educated here. Scholarships are given to gifted students from poorer families, but most of the students come from the rich upper class or aristocracy. All graduates are guaranteed a mentorship from a judge directly after graduation and many in this position become judges themselves after their mentor retires.
